Terms of Use
Last updated: May 7, 2026
These terms govern access to Odontavio workspaces by clinics, staff, and registered patients. Clinic subscription and data-processing terms may add operational, security, and privacy commitments.
Clinical use
Odontavio supports dental operations, documentation, scheduling, patient communication, and clinician-controlled decision support. The platform does not replace professional judgment, diagnosis, treatment planning, emergency triage, or local clinical protocols.
Account security
Users must keep credentials secure, use assigned accounts only, complete required MFA or step-up checks, and promptly report suspected compromise or unauthorized access.
Acceptable Use
Users may only access patient records for authorized care, operations, administration, support, or legal obligations. Data export, deletion, AI use, and high-risk actions may require additional audit evidence and clinic approval.
AI features
AI outputs are support notes and may be incomplete or incorrect. Staff must verify suggestions against patient history, examination findings, local clinical rules, and applicable law before acting.
Availability and resilience
Clinics remain responsible for downtime procedures, emergency care routes, backup evidence, and continuity plans. Odontavio provides resilience workflows and evidence tracking to support those obligations.
Governance
Production launch requires completed clinic configuration, approved subprocessors, privacy contact details, retention policies, MFA enforcement, backup evidence, and incident contacts. Jurisdiction-specific legal approval remains a clinic launch requirement.
